Not Just Pollack-Tics with David Pollack
War…What is it good for? Well, it seems it’s good for something as Democrats exploit yet another crisis in their quest to fundamentally transform America.
Joe Biden has been in office for just over a year. Yes, really, it’s only been one year but for most, it feels like forever as they languish in the Democrats new version of America. No one should really be that surprised though. President Trump prophetically warned that if Biden won, they would turn the country into a “socialist hell hole.” Sure, it was a strong statement but for those struggling to pay for groceries or fill their gas tanks, that’s exactly what it feels like.
Unfortunately for Democrats, they are starting to have a hard time convincing Americans that the empty shelves, high gas prices, and divided communities are still related to COVID. Even Anthony Fauci’s warnings seem to be falling flat. So, they’ve moved onto a new crisis to help implement their socialist inspired agenda, a war in Ukraine. Already, Americans are being warned to prepare for food shortages related to the war. Sanctions on Russia are now being blamed for rising inflation, deepening supply chain constraints, and persistent labor shortages as the Biden administration ensures these issues remain unresolved. Big Tech is also pitching in to help. Profile pictures that once prominently featured mask covered faces are now replaced by images of the Ukrainian flag. Avatars that once read, “I’ve been vaccinated,” now virtuously state, “I stand with Ukraine.” The White House even hosted more than thirty influential social media content creators to ensure they promoted the Biden Administration’s narrative on the conflict. It probably won’t be long before these “facts” are the only ones tolerated under the newest social media community standards. Fresh bans and informational banners are likely ready to go.
President Biden is also playing his part as he clumsily leads America closer to the brink of war. His opening scene, cutting domestic oil production and approving a second Russian gas pipeline to Germany known as Nord Stream 2, leading both the U.S. and its allies in Europe to become once again reliant on Russian energy. Then, when the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine became apparent, Mr. Biden basically encouraged Vladimir Putin’s army to invade, assuring that a “minor incursion” would not merit a strong international response. Even the sanctions levied against the Kremlin seemed to impact Americans more than Russia. More than a dozen current and former U.S. officials, many of whom helped assemble the response, admitted that they knew the sanctions wouldn’t change Mr. Putin’s behavior. Now, as Americans are being told that paying $4.00 a gallon for gasoline is the humanitarian thing to, the Biden Administration shows no interest in increasing domestic oil production, instead just insists we deplete our strategic oil reserves further.
And the show must go on. Just as the Biden Administration is making no efforts to ease the economic pain being felt by Americans here at home, he’s similarly not making any real efforts to end the war abroad. Instead, his involvement seems to only be helping to escalate it. To the horror of our allies, President Biden is being sent out with talking points that call for regime change in Russia, saying “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.” This follows an earlier “gaffe” where Mr. Biden indicated that NATO would respond "in kind" if Russia used chemical weapons in Ukraine. As world leaders shake their heads at President Biden’s shocking incompetence, Democrats are giving him a pat on the back for a job well done. After all, Joe Biden was handpicked by the Democrats to serve in the role of American President. They knew he was a cognitively questionable pre-octogenarian, incapable of leading the country out of the COVID-19 pandemic or any other crisis placed at his feet. It appears that he was just part of plan all along.
It’s yet to be seen just how close Democrats will take the U.S. towards an actual war in their exploitation of this latest crisis in Ukraine. In the end, it doesn’t matter whether it’s Ukraine, COVID-19, or some other crisis yet to arise. The real crisis is the Democrats plan for America. After all, you can’t build something back better until it’s first broken apart.
