Clara Del Villar

As the year wraps up and attention turns to the 2022 midterm elections, Democrats and Republicans alike will be vying for the Hispanic and Latino vote. Already we are seeing a shift of this demographic to the right; Republicans, nonetheless, will have to keep up the momentum and make a strong case for why Hispanic and Latino voters should side with them. Clara has been traveling to key states (Texas, Arizona, and Florida) over the past couple of months and conducting programming in Spanish and English to meet voters where they are and provide training for them to engage with their elected officials.

Clara heads up the Center for Economic Freedom and has most recently been focusing on their newly launched Hispanic Grassroots Alliance (HGA). The goal of the HGA is to empower more Latino and Hispanic voters through government policies that champion safe communities, economic flourishing, and education reform.
